I didn't have to do anything to get itDec 27 2011Social Work
I didn't have to do anything to get it. You have to have an 18 or above on the ACT and above a 2.5 GPA unless you have specific needs then they are willing to work on it.

Lets be honest, we all get inAug 07 2011Biology
Lets be honest, we all get in. Thats why there is such a housing problem for the 2011-2012 school year. Eventually Olivet will need to start turning people away, but for now, I love that Olivet is giving every student an equal opportunity to get an education despite mistakes or grades earned in the past. (I stink at standardized test taking too! The first score I received started with a 1 and ended with an equally unsatisfying number!). Let me just point out that although Olivet is EXTREMELY expensive, I've never met a student paying over $15,000 a year.
ACT: 27 Female
Admissions standards at the university are very laxJul 28 2011Business - Management and Administration
Admissions standards at the university are very lax. As long as you can pay you can attend. The university does boast of higher reported ACT/SAT scores for incoming freshmen ,but most of these students are bought. This primarily means that the university sacrifices potential income generated from the students in exchange for being able to report higher standards from students. Purchasing these students also means that the university has and will continue to show increased enrollment even though undergraduate enrollment is capped at 2500.

Currently the university is focused on growth and is in the process of building a 40+ million dollar new student recreation center. While this center has little to do with enhancing the academic quality of the instituition it does distract students enough for them to not realize that they will graduate from this institution with a $100,000 useless piece of paper. The cost of this center is primarily financed through the issuing of $5,000 municiple bonds. These bonds will are be sold to the public.

During this period of time the university is extremely focused on keeping its reputation in a good light both for obtaining new student and ensuring that it is operating the black.
ACT: 32 Male

I got decentMar 03 2011Social Work
I got decent grades and did well on the ACTS. But don't worry, ONU lets in MANY mediocre students.
ACT: 29 Female
I received very highOct 05 2010Unknown
I received very high grades in high school and participated in many activities as well as did the best I could on my ACT. I would recommend that students do the best school work that they can in high school and also to participate in many groups and sports in order to be well rounded. It is also would help to be as involved as possible in church activities.
ACT: 26 Female
